Samsung would most likely want to get rid of the foul taste of 2016 after one of their toughest years and they are focusing solely on making 2017 a year to remember. They are aiming to achieve this goal with their new flagship Galaxy S8.
Samsung’s communications vice president, Lee Jae-yong has disclosed that the new S8 will boast an improved camera, slick designs and an enhanced artificial intelligence service.
Manufacturers have had to focus more on security thanks to Samsung and Android Pay and Samsung will be no different. The phone will feature an iris scanner witch has been improved for optimal speed and accuracy. The scanner will be at the top of the phone separate from the selfie cam. More rumours claim that the S8 will have a larger display covering most of the phones front panel.
The Galaxy S8 might be the first phone to offer Bluetooth 5.0, this means that Bluetooth will be twice as fast as before and will cover a larger range and thanks to backwards compatibility, Bluetooth 4.2 devices will still work on your device.
Most rumours suggest that the S8 will feature an autofocus selfie camera and higher pixel resolution. The phone will locate people at different distances which will optimise group shots and the latest addition will also feature a dual camera setup at the back.
More details will become available as we get closer to the 2017 release date.
