Keep a record of your Android calls with Google Voice

It could be important to record phone calls for legal reasons or just to keep a record. Unfortunately, Android does not have a built-in tool to record calls and there are limited apps in the Google Play Store that can record high quality phone calls.

Fortunately there are some ways to record important phone calls for future use. One of the best options is to use the Google Voice app. You will be able to record incoming calls for free using a Google Voice account.

Create a Google Voice account by following the instructions on the Google Voice website. Enable recording on your account as soon as your account is set up, by clicking the gear icon in the upper right corner, then choose ‘settings’. Select ‘calls’ and check ‘enable recording’.

You will be able to record incoming phone calls and stop recording by pressing ‘4’ on your keypad and calls will be saved to your inbox where they can be retrieved at a later date.

There are many third party apps that promise the same results, but it is always safer to use a trusted app that’s been tried and tested.
