BlackBerry is planning on launching a line of new phones in coming months, which makes us wonder whether BlackBerry is truly letting go of the smartphone market. The failing company showcased the KeyOne at the MWC 2017 and rumors suggest that another device, the BlackBerry BBC-100-1 will soon hit the market.
An image of the BBC-100-1 has leaked online and it looks to be a very interesting phone. It looks like the phone has a metallic surface at the back, with the BlackBerry logo at the bottom of what looks to be a standard front.
Leaked specs on Twitter showed that the phone will be an entry level device with a 5.5 inch 720p display and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor. The phone is said to have32GB of storage and 4GB of RAM. The smartphone has a 13MP rear facing camera and 8MP front facing camera, making it pretty standard.
We can only wonder if these new devices will help the sinking company in regaining some of the smartphone market which is mostly driven by Android and iOS.
