Samsung’s first foldable phone could rollout this year


Something truly awesome is coming soon. We are talking about Samsung’s first foldable phone. Samsung has been working on foldable displays for many years and the smartphone giant could be ready to showcase the first prototype, the Galaxy X.

The new Samsung Galaxy X will be released in the third quarter of 2017; all reports indicate that the company is on track to achieve this goal. The device could be used as a tablet or smartphone, depending on how it is folded. Rumors suggest that there will be two models, one that folds out like a wallet and one with a 5 inch screen that can be unfolded into an 8 inch display.

There are also rumors that suggest that LG will be rolling out their own line of foldable devices at the end of 2017, so it has to be seen who will be the first to launches foldable smartphones.
